Federal courts cannot hear state-law claims against state officials, so I sued in state court as well, challenging my suspension, my ban from the law building, and the investigation of my petition. I bring claims for breach of my employment contract and for violations of the Kentucky Campus Free Speech Protection Act and the Kentucky Civil Rights Act. I also bring claims under the free speech, religion, due process, and equal protection guarantees of the Kentucky Constitution, and I challenge the constitutionality of Senate Joint Resolution 55.
